Simply take an ice cube tray of your choosing (or multiple ice cube trays if you have a lot of jewelry). Place each item of jewelry into one of the spaces normally used for ice cubes. Use a Potato to Remove Rust From a Pan
Did you know that raw potatoes contain an acid that can dissolve rust? You may never be able to look at a potato the same way again. Just slice this root vegetable in half and start rubbing the surface of the pan with it. If you need extra scrubbing power to remove rust from a pan, use the outside of the potato to take advantage of the rough skin or add some salt to scrub away serious rust. Let it sit for ten minutes, give a final scrub, and then wash the pan as usual. The rust will be gone.
