Store Berries in a Single Layer

Berries have a tendency to mold and get mushy quickly. To keep this from happening so quickly remove them from the plastic packaging and spread them out on a baking sheet. Be sure to keep the berries in a single layer. This prevents the juices from one berry leaking over another, preventing them from decaying as fast.
