Use Vinegar and Baking Soda to Lift a Stain

lift a stain

Do you have stubborn stains on tile or other surfaces? Have you already tried scrubbing without any major success? This works amazingly for deep-set and stubborn stains on everything from porcelain to cloth. The major exceptions are wood and metal. Simply cover the stain with baking soda first and then pour on the vinegar to lift a stain. When the two cleaning ingredients combine, there will be an instant chemical reaction creating a strong foam that will lift even the toughest berry, ink, or coffee stains.
Problem solved!

DIY Birch Vase

diy birch vase

This is a simple woodworking project that just about anyone at all handy can do. Cut a fairly straight piece of birch to your desired length/height for the vase. Then use a forstner, spade or tri-flute style bit to bore out the center of the wood, leaving at least 1.5 inches at the bottom, particularly if you’re not using a forstner bit. Great for your own home decor or as an inexpensive, beautiful custom gift.
